An award-winning world-class Sitecore solution for a world-class elite university.
DTU is a privately driven technical elite university with international reach and a mission to develop world-leading nature and technical sciences to the benefit of global societies. The University is one of Denmark's biggest with more than 5.000 employees and 9.000 students.
We had DTU as a client for more than a decade, were we served them as their trusted digital partner. On of the largest projects was in 2012 were DTU formulated a new communication strategy with digital as the most central driver for sharing knowledge amongst DTU and the societies around them. This included all internal platforms and systems to be integrated into one central platform to ensure more efficient workflows and knowledge sharing internally, and externally. The platforms communicate to multiple target groups including all students, applicants, press, teachers and any other person related to DTU. DTU hosts students and teachers from all over the world. They decided to base the new platform on a Sitecore multisite solution with Kruso as their digital partner.
Kruso has been responsible for the development, launch and maintenance of this ambitious Sitecore project through several "generations". The complex platform stands out for its ease of use, excellent service design, flawless performance and stability. The system is serving up data from a wide range of various 3rd party and internal systems in more than 40 different integrations. This includes ERP systems, various specialized learning platforms, training management systems and many more.
The prestigious award “Sitecore Site of the Year 2013” proved that DTU had one of the most complex and market-leading Sitecore sites till date – honouring the sky-high ambitions of this international elite university. The entire platform today consists of more than 800 individual subsites, 35.000 pages, +200 editors and 200.000 unique visitors per month. We had the client until 2019.
